ST. CECILIA'S JUNIOR CHOIR

"Make a joyful noise unto the Lord"

Day Trip to London

Departure: 8:00 am from St. Mary's Church

Places to Visit:

  • Holy Mass at 10:00 am at the Brompton Oratory, Brompton Road, London SW7 2RP

  • Visit to the Science Museum, Exhibition Road, South Kensington, London, SW7 2DD

  • Visit to Mudchute Farm, Pier Street, Isle of Dogs, London E14 3HP

Return: 8:00 pm (expected time)

We have hired a minibus that will bring us to the Oratory. But to get to the farm we will need to use the subway as no parking is available on or near the farm. As a result, a suggested donation of £20 is requested for each child to cover the expenses, for snacks etc.

Please, note: this trip is only for members of the St. Cecilia Junior Choir. Any other child or teenager who wishes to join the trip must approach Fr. Pio directly to discuss this and must also have the intention to join the Junior Choir. Unfortunately, parents will not be able to come on the trip since there won't be enough seats on the minibus to take everyone. One essential objective of this trip is that the children are able to spend time together, get to know each other more and, hopefully, build solid friendships.

Children are expected to bring along a packed lunch and if possible, some pocket money.

For the visit to the farm, children are advised to bring along alternative shoes for walking around the paths as these are also used as bridle paths.
