Fr. George Roth: Heavenly Bridegrooms without ‘Spot or Wrinkle'

The essential message of today’s readings is the vocation of all Catholics to become holy so that, as spouses of Christ, we will be in the unity of the Father and Holy Spirit for all eternity. This is what is meant by eternal life – our union in love with God for all eternity. To achieve this, of course, we have to be without “spot or wrinkle” (i.e. no sin).
