Next Friday, 25th May, Ireland will go to the polls to vote in a national referendum on the legal status of abortion. The life of the unborn child is currently protected under the 8th Amendment of the Irish Constitution, but this is now under threat. Please join the “Eight Hours to Save the Eighth” campaign of Eucharistic Adoration at St Mary’s Church, from 10pm on Thursday to 6am on Friday, by signing up for an hour or more. There is a sign-up sheet at the front of the church, or you can sign up online: https://tinyurl.com/savethe8th There will also be a special Stations of the Cross at 3pm on the Friday. Your prayers and sacrifices are so much needed in this eleventh hour, so please take part in any way you can, even if simply by spending just a few minutes on the day to implore the intercession of Our Lady of Knock.
